Proofreading (1₺)

Proofreading at Lale is the final stop before completion, whether your finish line is publication, mass production, or otherwise going public; your work is all but ready for submission and needs a last set of careful eyes to doublecheck your English. If applicable, your conformity to external style requirements is assumed, although your consistency will be under review.
Copyediting (2₺)

Copyediting at Lale is a grammar snob’s first (and rather merciless) look at your project; your work is neither properly formatted nor ready for a final proofreading but requires the thorough initial hunt for grammatical errors and issues related to readability. If requested, also included is the evaluation of your writing against a particular style guide (Chicago-Turabian, MLA, APA, in-house, etc.).

Fees are per word and do not include VAT (20%).
Projects are assumed to be 8,000 words or less.
Accepted projects will be completed and returned within seven days.
Some back and forth is expected and, of course, welcomed after we have returned your edited project.

Prolonged interactions on a completed project will result in a recommendation that the project be resubmitted for additional services.
While there is inevitable overlap between these services, they are distinct and will be completed as such in order to yield the best, most targeted results for the client.
Combining services (and fees) is welcomed.
